Kimber Roque

Kimber Roque Winner of "Heads or Tails" Game Donates to Student Scholarship for Coby Rangel

Message from Student Scholarship Recipient:

I would like to take this opportunity to, as personally as I can, thank those in our community that were kind enough to give their time and money to help me. I am extremely grateful to have been blessed with this financial miracle, and it really has made it possible to afford an instrument for my music degree at Carnegie Mellon University.

I have always thought that the Dickinson community was more closely knit than a typical Texas town. Each and every one of our members support each other in our endeavors- no matter how diverse or ambitious. This is something that I will remember for the rest of my life, and when I am old and (hopefully) successful, I will always remember and continue to support my hometown who helped pay for my first instrument. Thank you again to everyone who donated, and a huge thanks to Mr. Wade Macdonald, Ms. Jeannette R Thielemann, and Mrs. Kimber Roque, who truly made me aware of the compassion and supportiveness that we all share in the Dickinson Gator community.
